An Example of Experimental Archeology Studies: Erzurum ‘‘Paleolithic Age of Obsidian Workplace’’
The studies conducted in Turkey in the last 15 years in museums and archeological sites have begun to modernise the incorporation of new tchniques and different disciplines. The museums are not only places where artifacts are exhibited and where certain information is given, but also they have become complex structures supported by conference halls, where periodical animations take place, and where archeological materials are exhibited by redesigning with experimental archeological methods. This article includes that the reproduction of tools used by Paleolithic Age adhering to the techniques used in Paleolithic Age in the obsidien workplace in Erzurum Museum, the use of these tools and exhibiton of them by dividing into tools groups. As a result, many of paleolith tools used/made in the Paleolithic Ages have produced adhering to the techniques of those times and their production techniques have put forward
