Abstract


Evaluation of the Acquisitions in the 2018 Turkish Language Teaching Program in Terms of High-Level Thinking Skills.
Science, developments in technology, the speed of communication and the positive and negative innovations brought by globalization make it necessary for the individual to use thinking and high-level thinking skills in harmony. Turkey as well as countries in the world for it to renew and update the curriculum. 2018 Turkish Language Teaching Program in Turkey "Qualifications Framework" was revised in context. This research was conducted in order to identify the high-level thinking skills to which the achievements in the four basic language skills are directed. The student's universe was selected by means of sampling for the purpose of sampling all the achievements in the 2018 2018 Turkish Lesson Curriculum. The basic language skills of the classes are the achievements. The reason for giving the 4th class achievements in this study for middle school is to show the integrity between primary and secondary school. In the study conducted according to the qualitative research method, a document review was preferred as the data collection method. To ensure the reliability of the study, inter-encoder reliability was used and 90% agreement was reached. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result, it has been determined that while acquiring a vast amount of content for critical thinking and reflective thinking, achievements related to creative thinking are few and achievements related to problem solving are minimal. The distribution of high-level thinking skills also differs in terms of their ability to understand and explain.
