Abstract


The Opinions of Educators and Children's Author Middle School Students in the Context of What We Read ? - A List Suggestion-
The purpose of this research is to prepare a book list for secondary school students. For this purpose, the books needed by junior high school students were determined in the light of the opinions of branch teachers, academicians and children's literature authors. The book is very important in terms of human and cultural development. Therefore, there is a need for literature products that are literary and pedagogical. When the literature products are thought to play a dominant role in the child's affective, cognitive and emotional development, the importance of studying to determine the texts that are come forward by literary, pedagogical and linguistic competence towards secondary school students can be determined. In this research designed in the qualitative research approach, the phenomenology (phenology) pattern is used and descriptive analysis is done. The study group consists of 90 Turkish teachers, 18 lecturer and 7 children's literature writers. As a result of the research, a book list with a total of 100 books, which is beneficial for middle school students, a list of authors composed of the names of authors whose works should be read by the students was created. The pre-school period, starting from the creation of reading lists and reference for all levels of education in the direction of suggestions has been a continuous update of these lists.
