This study focuses on the question whether an ode that exists in the collected poems of Bâki and Âşık Çelebi, the two contemporaries, which also includes the pseudonyms of both poets in its last verse, is a collaborative one; and if not, who its original poet might be. The study also questions how the poem may have been involved in the collected poems of the two poets. The copies of the collected poems were analyzed; the relationship between this poem and the other poems of the two poets was revealed in terms of form such as rhythm, rhyme and the number of verse units. Besides, the relationship between the poem and the other poems of the two poets was revealed through a contextual analysis; the issue of which poet’s style was more influential and obvious in the poem was made clear. In addition to all these analyzes, the poem was analyzed in terms of parallelism, the original poet of the poem was unearthed through the poets’ pseudonyms and syntactic comparisons. As a result of well-rounded analyzes, it was found out that the poem belonged to Âşık Çelebi.
